Today, April 1st Twelve new cases of #COVID-19 have been recorded in Nigeria as some of the states in the country are undergoing 14-days lockdown. It was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) official twitter handle.
According to the reports of the NCDC, the new COVID-19 cases are 9 in Osun State, 2 in Edo State and 1 in Ekiti State which leads to a total number of 151 confirmed cases, 9 discharge cases, and two deaths.

Meanwhile, a new Virology Lab has been set up at Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, Ebonyi Stated has disclosed by the NCDC which brings the total COVID-19 testing lab in the country to 7. Some other states such as Maiduguri, Kano, Sokoto, Port Harcourt, Jos, and Kaduna are in progress.
