My Past Experience With Erectile Dysfunction

I thought impotence was something that only happened to older men. But it’s an increasingly common problem in young men. According to a recent study, 1 in every 4 new erectile dysfunction patients is under 40 years old. My current doctor told me that 1 in 10 men will suffer from it at some point in their lives. But it’s still such a taboo subject to speak openly about.

Recently I had an interview with an elderly that has experienced erectile dysfunction during his youth age, Continue reading to learn from his past experience.

Interview Session With Mr. John

Thank you Mike for the interview session to share my past story with your platform. My name is John. I was a public servant for 25 years. I’m now 75 years old, retired, and running my own little fruit business. I will be celebrating 50 years of marriage with my long time life partner and friend in 2 weeks. I’m looking forward to having our kids and grandkids at the house.

When I was 31 years old, I was diagnosed with Erectile Dysfunction (ED), which is an inability to get or keep an erection during sexual intercourse. While I’m really comfortable talking about this issue now, I never discussed this subject with any of my friends in the past. I guess no one wants to admit to it.

It wasn’t until we tried to have a second child that we sensed something was wrong. Things just weren’t the same, between us. We attributed it to the fact that we are both working parents. We both have stressful jobs and anxieties. I was having ‘improper’ erections that weren’t firm. I would ejaculate about a minute into intercourse. This was no good for my wife or me. I felt like I wasn’t performing my duty as a husband, that I was failing her. My wife thought I no longer found her attractive.

At this point, I started thinking about using some male enhancement supplements to help me to be able to perform in bed. I read and researched different male sex enhancement supplement but I’m unsure of which product is the best and safest for me. So I decided to go to my doctor to ask for his professional opinion and also talk to him about my personal situation.

When I was done talking to my doctor about my current situation he asked me a couple of questions which I answered honestly. Then he informed me that my problem was caused by smoking, which can affect circulation in your body, including circulation down there. I had no idea of the link between erectile dysfunction and smoking but he made the connection straight away. If I’d known it was this easy to find the cause of my problem I would have gone to see my doctor much earlier.

I have been smoking for 20 years. I had never thought about giving up before because I thought I was too addicted. But once I made the connection, I said to myself that if I’m going to fix this problem, then I have got to give up smoking. I decided to change my lifestyle and I started eating healthy, doing my exercise, and keep myself preoccupied with spending lots of quality time with my wife and son. Talking with my wife about the problem I was having was very helpful and she was very supportive when she realized that she wasn’t the problem.

At the same time, my doctor advised me to start taking supplements to help boost my libido and sex drive. I started seeing great results after taking the supplement for a few weeks and it worked very well, with no side effects.

My wife finally became pregnant and she gave birth to triplet. We are blessed and have lived a wonderful life together. We still have lots of wonderful moments ahead of us.

I would advise other men who are having the same problem, to go and speak to their doctor. That is the first step to finding a solution to the problem. This isn’t something to be scared of or to be embarrassed about. I was initially a bit embarrassed, talking about it to anyone. But talking about it with my doctor and my wife has been worth it. It’s restored my confidence and really helped my relationship. I only wish I’d done it earlier.

Final Conclusion:
Erectile dysfunction is not a disease, but a symptom of some other problem, either physical or psychological, or a mixture of both. Don’t die in silence, speak up early, and seek a solution. Have a blissful weekend and #Staysafe.
